SAEKER, founded in 2000 and registered in 2006, is a humanitarian NGO in Darfur focused on human dignity and self-reliance. It offers relief, protection, social services, and stability programs for IDPs and those affected by violence. Saeker is recognized for aiding those fleeing religious or ethnic persecution.

SAEKER VOLUNTARY ORGANIZATION
SAEKER is currently implementing emergency response, transitional and it will shift to post-conflict development programs from it is main office in El Fasher. The overall long-term goal of SVO’s programs in Darfur is to see Darfur people exercising fundamental rights, accessing basic services and managing their own livelihoods, while participating in an active civil society that is enabling all individuals and communities to move Darfur towards accountable governance, enjoying peace, stability, and security.
SAEKER organization it is committed to honor ship, human dignity and self-reliance. SAEKER Voluntary Organization (SVO) was established in 2000. It is humanitarian, voluntary grass roots organization and recorded as local NGOs under the law of Voluntary Organization (LVO) as provision of state Ministry of Social Welfare (MoSWF) in 2006. Today, Saeker is one of Darfur humanitarian NGO’s, however Saeker one of the leading nonsectarian voluntary organizations providing relief assistances, protection programs, socials services and stability programs for IDPs, people fleeing religious, ethnic persecution and those uprooted by violence.
Management board:SAEKER organization is formed of board director, an Executive Committee and General Assembly body. The society has got an effective management system whereby regular meetings are organized with the committees to review the progress against set plans. An annual meeting of the society members takes place where at an evaluation of the society progress is usually carried out.
The funding source of the society comprises of contributions from its members monthly subscription and membership entry fees. In addition, the society receives funding from donor, UN agencies, including INGOs and stakeholders, to implement specific projects.
